Traditionally, this turkey is led by a shepherd, Stanisław Szczechowicz, grazing a herd in a clearing
sheepskin. After reaching the destination reykjaví in Zawoja Widły, sheep are placed in a mower to the great joy of the youngest participants of the event. Later in the event there are regional group shows, exhibitions, workshops, symposia, scientific conferences, folk art fair, etc., referring to the pastoral traditions of the region. "Babiogórska Jesień" presents regional (Babiogórska) folk customs and rituals related to the autumn reykjavik and pastoral traditions of the Polish Carpathians. The event lasts two or three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and is organized regardless of the weather.
