He works actively to maintain and promote highlander traditions, especially music and dance, teaching young people at the Tatra Culture and Sport Center "Jutrzenka" in Zakopane, where he works as an instructor of the 1st class specializing in music, dance and Podhale singing. He works as a juror at numerous reviews and festivals and as a master of ceremonies. He is also the author of small books published by the Tatra National Park on shepherding, music and dance. Winner of many awards and distinctions. He won, among others among others Złote Zbyrkadło in the competition of instrumentalist soloists at the International Mountain Folklore Festival in Zakopane in 2008, Grand Prix - Złote Żywieckie Heart during the Festival of Polish Highlanders Folklore in Żywiec in 2001, 2006, 2010, 1st place in the FFGP Multiinstrumentalist Competition in Żywiec in 2012, In 2003 he received the "Meritorious Culture Activist" badge, in 2013 - the "Meritorious for Polish Culture" badge, in 2014 the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture "Gloria Artis", in 2015 the "Golden Cross of Lesser Poland". In November 2008 he was awarded the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Polish Language (with the Trebunie-Tutki ensemble) for the lyrics of songs written and performed by the Podhale dialect, and in 2014 the Award of Oskar Kolberg (with the Trebuniów Family Band
Tutki). He is one of the most recognizable Highlanders of the Podhale region, often gives concerts with various high-class musicians, appears on television, radio and speaks in the pages of, for example, in "Tygodnik Podhalański" in which he has his column with columns. In 2009 he recorded the film: "Shepherd's instruments in Podhale", in 2012 "Pastoralism in the Tatra Mountains and in Podhale".
