It begins with a solemn mass in the church, followed by the sacrifice of sheep and shepherds
holy water and incense the herd. The priest also makes wood chips, which the gathered shepherds take with them to their homes to light the first waddle in the hut. In addition to the shepherds and shepherds from Podtatrze and the Beskids, the festival also gathers sheep breeders, shepherds from Slovakia, as well as numerous tourists and pilgrims. Most of the participants of the ceremony are dressed in traditional highlander costumes. The band is accompanied by a band. The holiday is spectacular and very attractive for tourists.
