Jaśliski Landscape Park

Opis miejsca

Jaśliski Landscape Park - protects the eastern part of the Low Beskids, including the source areas of the Jasiołka and Wisłok rivers. In the system of protected areas, it is the link between the Magura National Park and the Ciśniańsko-Wetliński Landscape Park and the Bieszczady National Park. It can be considered as the least tourist-penetrated fragment of the Polish Carpathians. The highest peak is Kamień nad Jaśliska (857 m). The park protects wildlife once again feral after the displacements of the Lemkos that took place after World War II.
