Our journey is on the highest parts of the Czerchowskie Mountains, where sheep were grazed in the halls in the 19th century. Today, only the beautiful halls are left, from which there are beautiful views of the Tarts, the Beskids and the Pieniny.

We start in the town of Ľutina, where the largest Greek Catholic Marian Shrine is located - the Basilica of the Dormition of the Holy Mother of God. In 1851, St. Martin appeared at Lutinska Hora. Nicholas, who ordered a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary to stand in this place. Nicholas gave a wonderful icon, inside the basilica there are paintings and icons by the academic painter Mikuláš Klimčák. On August 20, 2011, a reliquary with the blood of St. John Paul II. In the area of the basilica, a miniskansen was created with faithful miniatures on a 1:10 scale of Slovak wooden Eastern Rite churches.

From the basilica we follow the yellow tourist trail north, we reach the ruins of the castle Nový hrad from the fourteenth century; this castle was destroyed by the army loyal to the Habsburgs in the 16th century. After a while we come to the green trail that goes from the village of Hanigovce, we turn right behind the green and enter one of the branches of the Czerchowskie Mountains. The trail leads us through a forested ridge, after 3 km we reach the nodes of the trail - yellow descending to the village of Kamienica and blue, which is the main trail running through the entire ridge of the Czerchowskie Mountains. We turn left on the blue tourist trail and go along the main ridge towards Minčola. Along the way, we cross the Hýrová peak and reach the place called Lazy, where the old halls and viewpoints begin. The blue trail leads to the highest peak of the Czerchowskie Mountains, which is Minčol (1157 m). From the top there is a beautiful view of all parts of the world, of course the Tatra Mountains are in the foreground, but you can also see Babia Góra, the Three Crowns in the Pieniny or the highest peaks of the Low Beskids - Busov. At the top there is a triangulation tower erected here in the 1930s.

From Minčol we follow the red trail through Uhlisko to Maly Minčol (1054 m above sea level), we also have a tourist trail node, we go down the yellow trail to Lenartov. After 6 km we reach the main national road number 77, which we can now get to Bardejów or Stara Lubownia. Lenartov became famous for the fact that in 1814 the Rusyn shepherd accidentally found a strangely looking large piece of metal, which after examination turned out to be a meteor weighing 110 kg.
