Miyszani Sheep at Stecówka 2018

On the Stecówki glade yesterday many inhabitants and tourists gathered, who participated in the traditional ritual of mixing sheep. Gathered recalled recently deceased shepherd Henryk Kukuczka , who for years grazed sheep in Istebna. On this day, the gathered had the opportunity to see traditional herd incense, prayer over sheep, taste fresh bunc and lamb, and enjoy the music of Mała Jetelink , led by Monika Wałach-Kaczmarzyk , Zbyszek Wałach with son Jan , the male singing group Cieńkowianie and musicians from Zaolzie. The weather on this day was exceptional, and the wonderful views complemented the pleasant impressions.

Fresh cheeses from sałaszaczy will be available in the shepherd's hut at Złotron Gron and Cieńków.
