Playing on a fujair was a way of making the time in the hall more pleasant, it allowed to introduce the element of poetry, art and
fun for everyday life filled with work. Shepherds played this instrument already as honolnicy and juhasi (pastoral helpers of several years). Today, the ability to play fuja is highly valued and appreciated by jurors assessing musical and folklore performances. This instrument can be played solo, but also in a larger band.
