A herd of over 1000 sheep will pass through the streets of Szczawnica in the autumn reindeer. Redyk will end the distribution of sheep to their owners, and during this event you will be able to try oscypek cheese, bundz and mutton. According to tradition, Redyk is organized twice a year, in the spring the shepherds with juhas drive the sheep to the halls, and in the fall they come back again. In shepherd culture, redyk was seen as the biggest village festival.
