The third issue of the Carpathian Socio-Cultural Review
The third issue of the Carpathian Socio-Cultural Review published under the project "The World of Carpathian Roses - actions to preserve the cultural uniqueness of the Carpathians" co-financed by the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020.
This issue of the KPSK is largely devoted to the Hutsul region. So we have an interesting conversation with a Pole who has been running Kuba's Hut in inaccessible areas of Czarnohora for years. It is worth reading his comments on the development of tourism in this area of the Carpathians. The next materials are a short story about molfars, i.e. half healers, shamans, half healers or herbalists. It is worth seeing one of them and reading about a very interesting (hmm) remedy for everything he invented. The text and the colorful photo report about the bazaar-fair in the city of Kosów and the unusual report from the meeting with Serhiy Dutka are also worth recommending. He is an artist working in clay, who, on the one hand, makes products modeled on old Hutsul pots and dishes, but on the other, he is constantly looking for new ideas, often very original, even surprising with contemporary motifs. Well, a ceramic dinosaur in Hutsul colors may surprise you that I will not mention a mammoth or a water horse.
