"Park with tradition" workshop

The Wiślskie Centrum Kultury is completing the project "Park with tradition - to save it from oblivion".

One of the main elements of the project were the workshops that took place during the harvest festival in Wisła at Kopczyński Park. During the workshops, residents and tourists could learn how to make butter, roll cabbage, bake bread, or make their own organic flour.

There were also Vistula shepherds who showed how to make traditional and fresh sheep's cheese and blacksmiths who presented how tools were made in the past. Importantly, as part of the project, the teams of Vołosi and Megitz also performed on the boards of the Wisła amphitheater.

- First of all, we are glad that we managed to awake the incredible potential of our creators, the more that the workshop was accompanied by great energy and positive emotions. "Park with tradition" is a novelty that attracted both locals and tourists,
and at the same time confirmed us in the belief that all kinds of workshops and showing our tradition is very important - says Katarzyna Czyż - Kaźmierczak, director of the Wiślański Centrum Kultury.

The Park with Tradition was realized thanks to a project submitted by the Wiślskie Centrum Kultury as part of the "Etno Polska 2019" program of the National Center for Culture.
