MONUMENT OF JERZY HARASYMOWICZ

JERZY HARASYMOWICZ MONUMENT - a monument erected on the Wyżna Pass located in the Western Bieszczady Mountains in October 2000. The monument (symbolic tomb) consists of two rock boulders connected by a decorative metal, openwork clamp forming the gate. On the boulders were placed two wooden plaques saying "JERZY HARASYMOWICZ POET 1933 - 1999" and "IN THE MOUNTAINS EVERYTHING I LOVE, AND ALL THE LINE ARE IN BEECHS, ALWAYS WHEN I COME BACK TO THE CLONES FOR MY GRANDCRAFT." The poet's monument was designed by Piotr Potoczka from the Cracow University of Technology, and made by Florian Szostak, a sculptor from Nowy Żmigród.
