We invite you to the "Black Sheep Festival" and "Shepherd Culinary Academy" to Piwniczna-Zdrój (6-7.10.2018)!

On October 7, 2018, between 14.00-19.00 at the "Beskid" Recreation Center in Piwniczna - Zdrój the Black Sheep Festival will take place, whose main goal is to pass on to the young generation the native tradition of shepherds from the nadpadzad highlanders, derived from the Wallachian culture. The program includes Carpathian Shepherd Fair, music competitions, demonstrations of activities related to sheep breeding and grazing, learning regional dance and many other attractions. On the eve and during the Festival, there will be cooking workshops (6 - 7 October 2018), during which chefs from Poland and Slovakia will present recipes for traditional dishes and pastoral products. The events will be accompanied by shepherd music performed by bands from Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine.

15:10 - 15:40 - performance of the regional band "Małe Piwnicoki"

15:40 - 15:50 - settlement of the competition for the prettiest sheep

15:50 - 16:15 - regional fashion show inspired by the Carpathian motif

16:15 - 16: 45– shepherding instruments competition "For Shepherd's Note"

16:45 - 17:30 - performance of the regional band from Slovakia "Plavćanka"

17:40 - 18:00 - folk dance course

18:00 - 18:40 - highlander group "Brothers"

18:40 - 19:00 - end of the festival

14:00 - 19:00 - Carpathian Shepherd Fair

19:00 - highlander's feast
