The inn is probably considered the oldest of its kind. comes from the first half XVII century. It is located in the very center of Jeleśnia near the former trade route, leading from Żywiec to Slovakia. The impressive silhouette of the huge cubature of the building imposed the form of a hip roof, called the broken Polish roof. The roof is covered with shingle. The log construction of the walls next to the eaves creates the form of decorative lynxes. Two spacious rooms serve as a restaurant serving traditional Beskid cuisine. This facility had its own icehouse, to which ice was imported from nearby Koszarawa. Insulated with sawdust, it maintained the appropriate temperature of products until the end of summer. The inn was a place of meetings, transactions and special events. Outside the local community, the inn hosted many prominent people, but also robbers, of whom there were many in the Żywiec Beskids.
