25/26 sierpnia 2017 - Konferencja otwierająca projekt „Szlak Kultury Wołoskiej”

Highlanders from Romania, Boykos, Hucula and Lemkos - these are just some of the representatives who appeared at the Scientific Conference organized in connection with the launch of the project "Trail of Wallachian Culture". The conference was preceded by the solemn opening of the Third Carpathian Congress.

Representatives of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and Romania met on Cieszyn's castle hill. They came to the inauguration of the "Wallachian Culture Trail" project and the Carpathian congress, which traditionally refers to the pre-war meetings of mountain people. The start of the event was signaled by playing on thrombite and on raids, as well as by the Slovak Sałashowy fjar, as well as a salvo of Carpathian robbers.

The ceremonial inauguration took place at 9.00 on the Castle Hill in Cieszyn.

The solemn meeting was followed by a conference dedicated to the Wallachian Culture Trail, which took place in the exhibition hall of the Castle of Art (Cieszyn Castle). The conference raised issues related to the cultural and natural heritage of the Carpathians in the context of creating a linear tourist product - the Wallachian Culture Trail.

After the scientific conference, a meeting of the Steering Committee was held at the "Szarotka" Center in Istebna.
