Traveling shepherd exhibition
In connection with the implementation of the grassroots initiative, four traveling shepherd exhibitions were organized as part of the "Wallachian Culture Trail" project. This action was aimed at making tourists and inhabitants of the Bieszczady region aware that this area of Poland, apart from aesthetic impressions, which are provided by landscapes, adventure on the trails and leisure in the bosom of nature, has a rich culture and the tradition of pastoralism still lives in it.
All organized exhibitions were aimed at showing items that are used every day at the Bacówka for making cheese, while grazing animals, explaining to all participants what traditional pastoralism and cultural grazing are. Elements that were presented were: women's / men's regional costumes, cutters (various sizes), butterflies, buckets, cheese forms (various types), glemplarka, cheese press, scoops, shepherd's bells, pickets, sheepskins, wool, finished products made of wool (rugs, vests) and an exhibition of pastoral photography
